Optimists encourage development of youth to promote optimism as a way of life, and promote active interest in a good government, civic affairs, law, patriotism, and international accord.


Optimists volunteers consust of people just like you. Each optimist club determines its own programs and projects based on the needs of the community and input from members.

Who is eligible to join?

Membership is open to men and women with an Optimistic attitude who have a desire to help children and make a difference in their community.

Membership Fees

Cost to join the organization: one time fee of $65. Adult membership: Quarterly dues are $40. Friend of Optimist membership: Quarterly dues are $35. Attendance at meetings is not mandatory, but it is fun.

Dues are subject to change.

First Tuesday of each month at El Taco Azteca at 12pm.


Third Thursday at Red Top Brewhouse in Acworth at 6pm.
